Prevention Programs

Step Up and Speak Out™ A two-session multi-media workshop for grades 6 and 7 students designed to help them understand and respond to bullying situations and empower the “silent majority” to safely intervene in bullying incidents.

Safe Dates: A 4 session program facilitated by our teen dating abuse educators in Long Island  Middle Schools. The program strives to raise students’ awareness of what constitutes healthy and unhealthy relationships and equips them with the skills to develop healthy relationships, including positive communication, consent, and conflict resolution.

Sexual Harassment Prevention™:  a two-session workshop for grades 6, 7 and 8 that discusses gender based bias harassment and sand the importance of maintaining moral respect and dignity for all students.

Safety Rules for Erin’s Law: a workshop for grades K-8 that fulfills the NYS mandate and teaches how to identify the sign of child sexual abuse using role-play and discussion in a non-threatening way.  Workshops for grades K to 4 are two sessions.  Grades 5-8 are one session and discuss online safety and human trafficking.

Online Safety Programs

SurfSafe!™ A one-session Internet safety workshop for grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 students focusing on cyberbullying, online sexual exploitation and other Web-based threats to children.
