To our clients, partners, friends, and community,

Due to ongoing financial challenges and the absence of a clear transition plan to ensure continuity of services, The Safe Center will be discontinuing services as of March 14, 2025.

Over the past several months, we have worked closely with Nassau County to identify a partner to continue these critical services. However, at this time, we are not aware of any plan to ensure continuity, and unfortunately, The Safe Center cannot sustain operations beyond this date.

As a result, all client services, including our Safe Home, Hotline, Advocate response, and Child Advocacy Center staffing—will no longer be available after March 14th.
